Responsible disclosure
It may unexpectedly happen that there is a weak spot in one of our systems. If you discover a vulnerability, we ask you to report it as soon as possible so that we can take the necessary measures.
We ask you to:
- Report the vulnerability to us as soon as possible after discovering it
- Email your findings to info@noltemezzanine.com
- Provide sufficient information to reproduce the problem so that we can fix it as quickly as possible. Usually the IP address or URL of the affected system and a description of the vulnerability are sufficient, but more information may be required for more complex vulnerabilities.
- Leave contact details so that we can contact you to work together on a secure result. At least leave an email address or telephone number.
- Do not share information about the security problem with others until it has been resolved
- Deal responsibly with knowledge of the security problem by not performing any actions that go beyond what is necessary to demonstrate the security problem
- Realize that any information from Chamber of Commerce systems is subject to confidentiality and that further disclosure of that information is punishable.
In any case, avoid:
- Placing malware
- Copying, changing or deleting data or configurations from a system (an alternative to this is creating a directory listing or screenshot)
- Making changes to the system
- Repeatedly gaining access to the system or sharing access with others
- Using so-called ‘brute force’ to gain access to systems
- Using denial-of-service attacks or social engineering
You can expect the following from us:
- If your report meets the above conditions, we will not attach any legal consequences to this report. We will treat your report strictly confidentially and will not share any personal data with third parties without your permission, unless this is required by law or by a court order.
- We will respond to your report within 5 working days with our assessment of the report and an expected date for a solution.
- We will keep you informed of the progress. We will resolve the security problem you have identified in a system within a reasonable period of time. We will determine in mutual consultation when and in what manner this will be published.
- In mutual consultation, we can, if you wish, mention your name as the discoverer of the reported vulnerability.
- As a thank you for your help, we offer a fun reward for every report of a serious security problem that is still unknown to us. The reward will never be in the form of money.
