Step 1: Consultation
At Nolte Mezzanine, it starts with a quotation request. To provide a floor that aligns with your products and business processes, we engage in detailed discussions to understand your needs. Our advisors cover all project details. You will have a dedicated project manager who stays involved throughout the process and serves as your primary contact. For questions or ideas, you can always reach out to them. We ensure that our processes align, making your project a true success.
Step 2: Engineering
Engineering is crucial at Nolte Mezzanine. Our skilled engineering department enables flexible, tailored solutions, handling both development and design of mezzanine floors and overseeing handling systems to bring your ideas to life.
Each mezzanine floor includes a static calculation report according to EUROCODE 3 requirements. Our engineers work with 2D and 3D drawings and are updated on the latest technical insights and field developments.
Step 3: Production
Every profile we deliver is unique, produced in our modern workshop with a professional welding department. At Nolte Mezzanine, we are passionate about steel. Production of steel structures, stairs, and railings is done in-house.
Nolte delivers quality products efficiently. We offer hot-rolled and cold-formed steel profiles, coated in one of four standard RAL colors. Galvanization for corrosion protection is also available.
Our steel structures meet TÜV and CE guidelines. Besides the standard RAL colors, any RAL color is available upon request.
Step 4: Transportation/Installation
Nolte Mezzanine manages the installation process internally, prioritizing the safety of personnel and the floor. Mezzanine components are delivered as a ‘building kit’ by truck. We keep you informed about activities, ensuring safe and undisturbed work for your employees and others.
We follow a structured assembly method. If you have your own team, we provide instructions and drawings for independent installation. Once completed, we conduct a walkthrough for handover and ensure all final details are addressed..
Step 5: Inspection/CE
An unsafe Mezzanine floor can lead to accidents, bodily harm, and material damage. To prevent this, the law requires three mandatory inspections for your warehouse and/or Mezzanine floor:
✔ Initial Inspection
✔ Periodic Safety Inspection
✔ Inspection after Damage
The European standard NEN-EN 15635 mandates maintenance and safety inspections for both warehouse racks and Mezzanine floors, conducted by an expert.
Nolte Mezzanine provides expert inspectors for all three inspections:
Initial Inspection: Conducted upon installation or any changes in configuration.
Periodic Inspection: Annually, inspectors verify the floor’s configuration and check for damages.
Damage Inspection: After significant damage, inspectors assess necessary actions to restore safety.

What does a safety inspection by Nolte entail?
- Inspection of the floor;
- Locating clear damages;
- Mapping the warehouse ‘on paper’;
- Providing you with an estimate of repair costs;
- Offering you the option to have a logistics check-up performed.
In addition to one-time inspections, Nolte Mezzanine also offers inspection subscriptions. This can be a one-year, three-year, or five-year subscription. We provide you with all necessary inspections. Nolte visits at least once a year for the periodic inspection. For an inspection after modifications and damages, you can schedule an appointment.
Safety
Installing a mezzanine floor is much safer for employees than tall racks in a warehouse. With a fixed entresol warehouse mezzanine floor, you incur no risks. Additionally, you can simultaneously fully utilize all the space.
Permits
We also inform you about legal requirements regarding necessary permits. Additionally, we remind you that the warehouse must undergo annual (periodic) inspections. In this regard as well, we are at your service.
Fire resistance
At Nolte Mezzanine, we can provide floors that are manufactured according to the requirements of the fire department and in compliance with insurance standards.
