Mezzanine floor
Mezzanine for Your Business Space
Mezzanine from Nolte
Nolte specializes in creating mezzanine floors. There are different terms for the term ‘Mezzanine floor’, namely: entresol floor, intermediate floor, or intermediate floor. In the past, this referred to a concrete floor that was laid according to a certain system. Standard components such as concrete beams were often used. The rigid parts of the system floor provide the necessary reinforcement. System floors are also used in ICT environments. The system floors were originally intended to conceal cables and pipes from view and to maintain an easily walkable surface.
Mezzanine meaning
A mezzanine is a self-supporting intermediate floor. The meaning of mezzanine comes from the Italian “mezzano,” which means “middle.” Other names for these floors are entresol or intermediate level. This self-supporting structure makes it possible to create extra floor space between two floor levels. The advantage of this product is that no major renovation is needed to obtain extra floor space. This makes a mezzanine floor a smart, quick, and affordable solution for space constraints or additional storage space.
Nolte’s mezzanine floors are made of strong steel structures and have a load-bearing capacity of up to 3500 kilograms per square meter. This makes the floors suitable for various purposes: from warehouse layout to additional workspaces in an office building. A product from Nolte provides a total solution for optimal use of space.

Why amezzanine floor?
What is a Mezzanine? In architecture, this type of floor is a self-supporting structure placed between two floors, for example. This construction is often used in high-ceilinged spaces to create additional or supplementary floor space. Usually, this Mezzanine floor does not cover the entire floor area of a building. It is common for it to be enclosed by four walls. It’s important that the Mezzanine is accessible for use, and the best solution is to add a staircase to make the extra level easily reachable.

The characteristics of a mezzanine
Because we at Nolte have a wide range of profiles in our assortment, we can design the right mezzanine floor for almost any application. We not only offer cold-rolled profiles with a hexagonal hole pattern in our assortment: other hole patterns are also possible, as well as solid cold-rolled profiles.
The solid profiles have the advantage of being cheaper (as the hole punching process is not required) and they are generally a few percent stronger. Large floor loads and large spans cannot be achieved with cold-rolled profiles. Therefore, we also offer hot-rolled profiles in our assortment. We always provide a solution!
Assembly Kit
We can build the mezzanine for you, or deliver it as an assembly kit. The floors are similar to Meccano: construction toys. There is a clear assembly manual included to assemble the mezzanine floor. If desired, we can personally come to assemble the floor, and we also arrange transportation.
Energy Saving
Our mezzanine floors feature a flexible system. The load capacity can reach up to 3500 kg per m2. Spans of up to twelve meters are possible. The unique cold-rolled profiles offer various technical possibilities:
HEXA holes for passing lighting/sprinklers without loss of height
Up to 11% cost savings by using your structure as a cable duct
Up to 17% savings on damage costs by protecting lighting and sprinklers
Up to 43% less lighting required due to reflected light
Accessories for the Floor
A Mezzanine floor is suitable for various industries. Therefore, it’s also possible to purchase various accessories to complete the setup. We offer a variety of stairs that perfectly complement a Mezzanine floor. Additionally, safety railings are essential for safety and should not be overlooked. Need to place pallets on the Mezzanine? Then consider pallet set-up places, as this allows for easy pallet placement in the warehouse or another location. At Nolte, your floor can be delivered in your desired color.
