Standard Colours
Nolte Mezzanine: Building quality together
Colors of a mezzanine floor
At Nolte Mezzanine, your mezzanine floor can be delivered in the desired color. Combinations are also possible, where the columns have a different color from the railing and the stairs. We use powder-coated components, which ensures a longer lifespan. In addition to four standard colors, we offer any RAL color for an additional charge. For a complete overview of possible colors, see: RAL Colors
Powder coating
We have chosen to powder coat the welded components, such as columns, base plates, and the like. All welded components are coated in the desired Classic RAL color. All profiles (main/mother beams and child beams as well as folded and sheet metal), on which the Mezzanine floor rests, can also be delivered in any desired Classic RAL color. All RAL colors are actually available, allowing the Nolte Mezzanine floor to form a colorful whole. Powder coating is environmentally friendly because excess powder can be sprayed onto another product. This makes the powder coating process environmentally friendly. Powder paint contains no solvents and/or diluents and is completely free of heavy metals such as lead chromate. Replacements are used to maximize environmental protection. Thanks to a simple yet unique process
Steel platform
The recovery system recovers very little powder during the coating process. Powder coating is thus done with an exceptionally high efficiency. Mother Nature benefits from it. Therefore, sustainability is not an empty promise. It is an essential part of our business operations.
Powder Coating, the Finest Protection for Steel
Powder coating, also known as powder painting or powder coating, is an electrostatic painting process in which negatively charged polyester powder is sprayed onto a positively charged product using compressed air. This causes the powder to temporarily stick, after which it is melted or cured in an oven. Curing is the process of hardening paints and coatings in an oven. In the oven, the product with the attached powder is subjected to a chemical reaction at around 180°C, causing the powder to melt and the polyester powder coating to acquire its final properties. The powders used comply with the QualiCoat standard as used in architecture. This means that even after a period of 4 years (the so-called Florida test), the powders must retain their gloss, color, and chemical properties according to the requirements of this standard. Exposure to exceptionally harsh conditions is also not a problem for Nolte polyester powder coating.
Why Powder Coating
Powder coating is strong, highly impact-resistant, with high chemical resistance, exceptionally durable, and environmentally friendly. It offers optimal protection against UV radiation or chemical influences. It is easy to clean due to its hard, smooth, and attractive finish, making it extremely suitable for industrial applications. Powder coating is used where hygiene is important or materials need to withstand extreme conditions. For added durability (for example, in moist or cold environments), an extra epoxy primer can be applied under the polyester topcoat for a slight additional cost. This allows Nolte Mezzanine floors to be used effectively in damp environments.
Mezzanine Floor System
Durable and environmentally friendly The advantage of powder coating is that no solvents are released. This is because the paint consists of a solid substance and no chemical additives are needed to adhere it to the product. Additionally, the paint that does not adhere to the product can be reused, as the excess powder can be sprayed onto another product. These two properties make the powder coating process environmentally friendly. Powder paint contains no solvents or thinners and is completely free of heavy metals such as lead chromate. Replacements are used to minimize environmental impact. Thanks to a simple yet unique recovery system, very little powder is lost during coating, resulting in a remarkably high coating efficiency. Mother Nature benefits from this. Therefore, sustainability is not just a promise; it is an essential part of our business operations.
