The challenge faced by Benix

Benix needed an efficient way to maximise their available space. The existing facility offered insufficient room for both storage and picking, which hindered operations. The challenge was to utilise the existing floor area of 4,787 m² while simultaneously creating a clear and open floor space for the storage of large furniture components.

What We Did

To meet Benix’s requirements, we designed and constructed a custom mezzanine floor. The mezzanine is built from cold-rolled profiles with a column grid of approximately 6,800 x 7,500 mm and features a chipboard floor finish. The floor consists of two levels, ensuring maximum space utilisation. We provided a solid construction with cross bracing for added stability, and the floor is designed for both storage and picking.
