Efficient space utilization and safe storage solution
For LTS Nordwest GmbH, Nolte Mezzanine built a high-quality mezzanine with three levels, totaling 2,956 m². Using cold-rolled steel profiles and an integrated roof structure for the sprinkler system, the mezzanine meets the strict safety standards of the aerospace industry. The solution makes it possible to store and manually pick aircraft components, while keeping the ground floor largely free for larger parts.
A future-proof solution for space shortage
The client needed more storage capacity for aircraft components without sacrificing ground floor space. A solution was required that enabled both storage and picking, while making maximum use of the building height. This mezzanine offers a flexible layout and leaves the lower area largely unobstructed, which is essential for LTS Nordwest GmbH’s operations.
A custom design meeting strict requirements
The mezzanine is divided into three functional levels at heights of +3,480 mm, +6,680 mm, +10,140 mm and +13,478 mm. Bracing ensures stability, even under intensive use. The roof structure on top was specifically designed to integrate the sprinkler system, a requirement in the aerospace industry and a guarantee of fire safety. This combination of technical precision and space efficiency resulted in a strong and smart total solution.
