Two-level mezzanine of 1,804 m² triples storage capacity and creates a more efficient logistics layout in Plauen
From 902 m² to 2,706 m² of storage space
For SRK Fortune GmbH, Nolte Mezzanine built a two-level mezzanine. This tripled the original surface area from 902 m² to 2,706 m². The new construction is used as a storage facility, giving the client a clear, safe and efficient warehouse layout.
The challenge: lack of space and inefficient inventory management
The client’s existing space was too limited to store goods efficiently and in an organized way. This caused shortages of space and chaotic inventory management. The solution needed to provide not only extra storage but also an improved logistics workflow and greater warehouse safety.
Technical solution focused on efficiency
The mezzanine was built from cold-rolled profiles with a column grid of approximately 5,000 x 5,300 mm and finished with chipboard flooring. With floor heights of +2,600 mm and +6,796 mm, and stability provided by portals and cross bracing, the construction is robust and suitable for intensive use. This solution makes optimal use of the available height and provides the client with maximum storage capacity.
