From limited space to automated packing lines

Tchibo Bremen needed a more efficient warehouse layout to automate its packing process. Nolte Mezzanine delivered a mezzanine, collision protection, stepover and supporting steel structures. Thanks to this tailor-made solution, space was created for automated packaging lines, increasing throughput speed and significantly improving logistics.

Space shortage and need for speed

Due to growing demand and the need for faster delivery, Tchibo’s existing space no longer met its logistics requirements. Limited capacity and traditional methods made it impossible to achieve the desired turnover speed. Automating the packing process therefore became a priority.

A technical solution for efficiency

Close collaboration as a success factor

From the initial assessment, Tchibo and Nolte Mezzanine worked closely together. Logistics needs, technical requirements and schedules were carefully aligned. Thanks to short communication lines and mutual trust, the design, production and installation process proceeded without disrupting daily operations. The turn-key approach allowed Tchibo to fully focus on its ongoing business.
