Doubled capacity in the same building
For TVH Equipment, Nolte Mezzanine built a one-level mezzanine that doubled the available space from 2,144 m² to 4,288 m². The mezzanine is used as a storage and picking tower while allowing large components to be placed efficiently on the ground floor. This way, the customer fully utilizes the building’s height while keeping the floor space flexible.
The challenge: lack of space and logistics efficiency
The client wanted more capacity for storage and manual picking without expanding the footprint. At the same time, sufficient free space had to remain available under the mezzanine for placing and moving large parts. This required a smart solution that was both practical and future-oriented.
Tailor-made technical solution
The mezzanine was built with cold-rolled profiles and a column grid of approximately 5,300 x 5,000 mm, finished with chipboard flooring. With a floor height of +4,200 mm and stability ensured by portals, the construction provides a solid base for storage and picking. This solution not only makes the warehouse more efficient but also prepares it for future expansion.
