The inspection of a Mezzanine floor is legally required. Upon completion of the Mezzanine floor, the inspector performs an initial inspection. Once every 12 months, the inspector visits to check your Mezzanine floor (periodic inspection). He verifies the current configuration against the issued load limits and checks for damage. However, you remain responsible for the safe use of the Mezzanine floor and must inform your staff of the regulations.
