Stute Logistics, a subsidiary of Kuehne + Nagel and a leading player in logistics services, required an innovative solution to optimise their warehouse space. The answer? An advanced three-story mezzanine floor with a total area of 1,400 m², significantly enhancing both storage capacity and order-picking efficiency.
The project delivered a triple mezzanine floor designed for maximum space utilisation within Stute Logistics’ warehouse. With a floor area of 1,400 m², constructed from cold-rolled profiles and a chipboard floor finish, the new facility provides a sturdy and efficient solution for storing both small and large parts. A three-storey shelf rack picking tower has been added at the rear, further optimising the picking process.
Stute Logistics faced the challenge of creating additional storage space within their existing facility, specifically for manual picking. Additionally, it was crucial to fully utilise the available space within the building to enhance operational efficiency.
To meet the needs of Stute Logistics, Nolte Mezzanine designed and installed a triple mezzanine floor with a surface area of 1,400 m². The floors have heights of 3,012 mm, 6,012 mm, and 9,000 mm, and are equipped with portals for stability, eliminating the need for cross bracing. This installation is specifically tailored for storage and picking activities, with special attention given to lighting, sprinklers, and lifts to ensure operational efficiency.
